Growing up as a Hispanic woman, I believed that fair skin and easily manageable hair were the epitome of beauty. That notion was challenged when I confronted my fear of embracing my natural hair. This led me on a path of self-discovery and self-love, during which I experimented with numerous products to find the best fit for me.

This eye-opening revelation ignited a passion within me to create a brand where women of color are not merely an afterthought, but the motivation behind its founding. Our products are not only for WOC but we understand that there is a knowledge gap, therefore, we have a mission and responsibility to bring awareness to this community.
Not only did I come to the realization that there are many potentially harmful ingredients in self-care products but I also came to know that environmental aggressors such as air pollution and over sun exposure are two major contributors to how we age. The data says that over 85% of the way we age is due to environmental aggressors.
